ARN gives presentation and tour during IARC 2014
On behalf of ARN, Hans van de Greef gave a presentation during the 14th edition of the International Automobile Recycling Congress (IARC), that was held in Brussels between 19 and 21 March. On the last day of the congress, an international group was offered a detailed tour of the PST factory in Tiel.
This year, Brussels was the backdrop for the 14th International Automobile Recycling Congress (in short IARC 2014) between 19 and 21 March. On behalf of ARN, Hans van de Greef gave a presentation during this key conference for the international (automobile) recycling sector, attended by more than 220 delegates from all around the world. Hans de Greef, director of the PST factory in Tiel explained, “In our presentation, we clearly described the current situation at ARN, including the fact that we are fully on schedule for achieving the target of 95% recycling and useful application, that becomes compulsory in 2015.”
Visitors to PST plant from India, China and Brazil
The final day of the congress was set aside for an on-location visit to the PST plant in Tiel. A very international group of 35 delegates took the opportunity to participate in a tour of the facility. “The guests included representatives from all over the world, including India, China and Brazil. The delegates from India were particularly enthusiastic about our work approach. Initiatives of this kind are excellent opportunities for encouraging the exchange of knowledge and cooperation. Whether ARN will actually profit from the visit only time will tell, but it was an excellent opportunity to demonstrate that we as a country are international frontrunners in the recycling of end-of-life vehicles,” concluded Hans van de Greef.
