The international automobile recycling industry will gather at the 19th IARC conference from 20 to 22 March. Vienna, Austria will be the stage of important discussions about developments in the industry. Of course, ARN will be part of the program and will also attend as a very interested participant.

The conference will focus on the developments in the automobile recycling industry. Experts from around the world will present and discuss the current state of the industry and future industry developments. In addition to automobile recycling plants and manufacturers, politicians will attend as well. With hundreds of international participants, IARC 2019 is the industry’s leading conference of the year.

ThemesThe themes of this edition will include:

reuse and recycling,legislation and regulation,dismantling (including hybrid and electric vehicles),technology and materials (including the perspective of a car manufacturer on plastics),sorting and classification (including the use of artificial intelligence),e-mobility and battery recycling (including the opportunities and threats in recycling lithium-ion batteries),

Germany, Argentina and India will be presenting country reports on the state of the automobile recycling industry in each country. In between the diverse 30 minute sessions, there will be plenty of opportunity to network.
