Chairman of the ARN Supervisory Board Ton van Soest steps down
Mr Ton van Soest has announced that he will be stepping down as Chairman of the Supervisory Board at ARN Holding B.V. After nine years of intensive collaboration, he feels that the time has come to pass on this special task. ARN is sorry to receive this announcement, but respects the decision and is grateful to Mr Van Soest for his passionate efforts on behalf of ARN.
Under Mr Van Soest’s chairmanship of the Supervisory Board, ARN has taken significant steps forward. This includes compliance with the new European legislation on the recycling of end-of-life vehicles and the construction of the PST plant. With its Post Shredder Technology, the most sophisticated technology available in waste separation, this plant now contributes more than 12% to the recycling target. Since 2013 ARN has complied with the recycling performance standard of 95%, of which at least 85% entails material reuse.
The Board of Directors of Stichting Auto & Recycling will be looking for a successor in the coming period.
