LPG tanks

Vehicles that run on LPG require special attention because of the gas tank. The dismantling companies remove the tank, which can contain residues of LPG. The tanks are mainly made out of metal, which can be recycled.

LPG was very popular with Dutch vehicle owners for a time, but that popularity has waned. The car dismantling companies remove the tanks from end-of-life vehicles. That has to be done carefully, because even an empty tank can contain residues of LPG. The metal goes to the shredder where it is decreased and prepared for new applications.

ARVO-Tech from Waalwijk has a special degassing installation to remove the final gas residues in a safe and environmentally friendly way. Both the gas as well as the tanks are completely recycled.
