Windscreens from end-of-life vehicles are recycled. The car dismantling company can remove the windscreens for a recycling company or leave the glass in the car, after which it is recovered in the Post Shredder Technology (PST) plant.

With glass, the dismantling companies can choose between two options. The company can dismantle the windows manually. ARN then has the glass collected before sending it to a recycling company. That is usually one of the Maltha glass processing company locations, where they make new glass products.

The other method is that the glass goes to the shredder company with the end-of-life car and then to the PST plant for final separation. That recovered glass is then used in construction.
